Set the broad direction first
Start with guest count, cake style, approximate tier count and delivery or pickup. The broad shape of the order should be clear before spending time on small decorative choices.
Colours, flowers and toppers can follow once the scale and finish are settled. This avoids refining a design that does not suit the servings, room or transport plan.
Confirm payment and the written order
Full payment confirms the booking and secures the wedding date. We record the cake size, flavours, finish, decorations and handover arrangement in writing.
Read the written details carefully before confirming. A change to guest count, tiers, decoration or venue can affect the work and final price.
Finish the venue details
For delivery, confirm supplier entry, parking, lifts or stairs, setup time, cake-table position, florist timing and the coordinator contact.
The table should be ready in its final position before the cake arrives. Last-minute table movement or an unfinished backdrop creates avoidable handling on the day.
